CHORES!!!….UGH who truly wants to do them? Not me, not my husband and certainly not our toddlers! Unfortunately, for the four of us, we all have responsibilities in our home. Albeit, quite often with VERY STRONG resistance… FROM ALL OF US! However, the importance of chores for toddlers goes beyond having a clean and safe home. This seemingly mundane task may help develop invaluable life skills in your toddler that will follow them into childhood, adolescence and eventually, adulthood.
It’s true, sometimes including our little ones in the tidying up process can be perceived as though we are doing more work. And truthfully, we probably are. Do you believe in New Year’s Resolutions? For a few years, I was so against them, and I’m not really sure why. My argument was that New Year’s Resolutions or resolutions in general, should be made throughout the year and not only at the beginning of each year. January 2020 feels like the perfect time to indulge in some self-love. The MOMENTUM AND EXCITEMENT are in the air! Let’s Do This! Stay tuned as I’ve put together a FREE simple Goal Sheet and a few tips to help you reach your New Year’s Resolutions this year. …

He had a few simple request for his party, besides it being a PJ Mask theme of course. Elias asked for 3 PJ Mask piñatas (one for each character), a PJ Mask cake and the PJ Mask headquarters toy, the big one!
He was beyond happy when it all came together, just look at his beautiful happy little smile and dimples!! I can’t get over him! For a brief moment I contemplated skipping out on a birthday party and opting for a smaller and much less expensive event, but he kept asking for a party and I have absolutely no regrets that we gave in to him. I feel that a day will come when he won’t ask or even want a party. I want to cherish these special request and moments as much as possible.
That said, this year I was trying to be a little conservative with my budget while planing his very special PJ Mask party. To do so I took a few small cost effective decisions that made a big difference. …
